Introduction
MSME-DI alongwith Central Footwear Training Centre and Workshop at Agra looks after the promotion and development of existing Small Industries and prospective entrepreneurs in 16 districts of U.P. under its jurisdiction. The Field Testing Station, Dehradoon has also been attached to the Institute. The districts served by the Institute are Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, Manipuri,Etah and Aligarh in Agra Division, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bulandhshahar, Saharanpur and Hardwar in Meerut Division and Pauri, Tehri, Chamoli, Uttarkashi and Dehradoon in Garwal Division.
