Introduction
MSME-DI, Srinagar, is functioning at Jammu due to prevailing circumstances in Kashmir Valley. This Institute and its branch at Jammu provides techno-managerial,economic and marketing services to prospective and existing entrepreneurs.The entrepreneurs are guided in product identification & diversification, selection of machinery and their procurement and preparation of project profiles and reports. The jurisdiction of the MSME-DI is over State of Jammu and Kashmir which consists of 14 districts viz Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama, Baramulla, Kupwara, Anantnag, Leh, Kargil in Kashmir province and Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri, Doda in Jammu province.
