Introduction
MSME-DI, Patna caters to the needs of existing and prospective entrepreneurs of 19 districts in the Central part of Bihar. The districts falling under its operational jurisdiction are Bhoijpur, Rohtas, Gaya, Nalanda, Mawadah, Patna, Munger, Bhagalpur, Sahebganj, Godda, Dumka, Aurangabad and Jehanabad. Following 5 districts have also been carved out after re-organisation viz. Buxar from Bhojpur, Bhabhua from Rohtas, barh from Patna, Banka from Bhagalpur and Jamui from Munger. The existing 14 district Industries centres are looking after the working of the newly created districts in addition to their respective jurisdiction.
