DCSSI Circular No.5(18)/92-SSI Bd. Dated 19th August, 1994 recognizing Hatchery as SSI and DCSSI Circular No.2(3)/91(4)-SSI Bd. & Pol. Dated 11th May, 1994 recognizing the activity of bottling/filling of LPG in cylinders as SSI - registrable under SIDO Registration Programme.

References have been received from industry and States for recognition of Fish Hatchery and refilling of high pressure oxygen gas as Small Scale Industry (SSI).

  1. The matter has been examined. It has been decided to treat the following as industrial activities eligible for registration as Small Scale Industries:
    1. Fish Hatchery through mechanized process, and
    2. Bottling & re-filling of Oxygen gas in high pressure Oxygen Cylinders.

  2. This may kindly be brought to the notice of all registering authorities and related agencies.
