7.0 Organisational set up of Department of Industries

The Department of Industries is headed by Commissioner-cum- secretary (Industries). He is assisted by Joint Directors, Dy. Directors, OSD (Planning), ISO, Assistant Directors. For the promotion of Industries, five zones each headed by an officer of the rank of Joint Director of Industries have been designated. Demarcation of areas under various zones is given in Annexure-V. The list of officers as well as their official and residential telephone no. is attached at Annexure-VI.
